Hotel Regina Louvre Paris

Insider’s Knowledge

Inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s “Paris is always a good idea” line from the 1954’s film Sabrina, we gladly visited the Hotel Regina Louvre Paris to check for ourselves the legendary vistas on display from this extraordinary five-star hotel. While the promise of eye-popping views was flawlessly delivered, the hotel’s distinct charm and character won us. To learn more about one of the best hotels in Paris, which was also the birthplace of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent societies after World War I, we joined Ms. Julie Policand in sharing a table at the English Bar, adorned with red velvet sofas and infused by the aura of the Victorian era.

Regina’s Location

The Regina enjoys a prime location in Paris’ 1st arrondissement, just across the street from The Louvre and Tuileries Garden, sitting precisely in Place des Pyramides, where Rue de Rivoli meets Rue des Pyramides. The prestigious Rue Saint-Honoré, its upscale shops, and traditional bistros are just around the corner. The hotel is also within easy walking distance to La Comédie Française, the Palais-Royal Garden, and the charming Galerie Vivienne. For those visiting Paris for the first time, the location is unbeatable.
